Taking a break…

Hey there! I just wanted to write a post here to let you know that I’m taking a break from the blog for a little while. I haven’t been able to spend time on it as much as I’d like to. I just have a lot going on lately and will be back when things settle down.

I have had some health stuff going on lately, no worries though, I’m okay. I’ve had a lot of appointments though, and in between the appointments, I’m just trying to take care of myself.

On top of that, I’m also apartment/townhouse hunting. I have a list of places I’m interested in, but have yet to get out to actually look at them, and go there in person. My significant other has some vacation time starting next week, which would be the best time to finally get out and look!

I’m looking to move as soon as possible. So in the meantime, we have to start some packing and get a head start on that. I’m not moving very far, just would like more of an “upgraded” place to live.

Going along with my health stuff, I’ve been diagnosed with Rosacea recently. I just started treatment for that a little over a week ago, and am trying to stay away from trying any new or different makeup/skin care products for a little bit. My skin routine is definitely more simple and gentle now. I plan on trying to only wear makeup on special occasions for a little while.

Not that I haven’t bought and hoarded my share of makeup lately…Though, I need to chill for a while and go on a no-buy/low-buy. Anyhow, I will still be active and present on social media of course. I have some pictures and things to share on Instagram as per usual.

I also have the WordPress app on my phone and will still recieve and reply to notifications. Though I don’t get too many comments these days, due to my lack of effort I’m sure. I do apologize for that as well. Thank you to those of you that do read my posts and comment. It’s very much appreciated! I hope that everyone has a great weekend! I will be back soon! πŸ’‹

P.S. You can connect with me on social media if you would like to, if you don’t already. There are icons in my side menu. Also, if we’re friends on Instagram, don’t forget to check out my Instastories. I post random things and makeup things on there often. ❀ xo

  1. Take all the time you need! Moving is the absolute worst, so I definitely understand the need to focus on it and then relax! I hope you find the upgraded place you desire and I hope to follow in your footsteps in a few years! I so feel you on the needing to low buy; we can do it!

  2. Enjoy the break Katie and embrace the “you” time!
Fellow rosacea sufferer here!! I found that the only thing that’s worked is an ointment the doctor prescribed and my face is better than ever! I’ve also started IPL treatments to get rid of the redness and like you I’ve stopped wearing make-up all the time. I finally feel like I can “get away” without it πŸ™‚ xoxoxox

    1. Thank you Rosie ❀ I have been so busy lately, not too much me time lol. I’m using a topical cream twice a day and have an antibiotic I’m taking twice a day. It has seemed to improve ! Hopefully it continues πŸ™‚ xoxoxoxox

  4. I just saw this post 😳 so I’m a little bit backwards in my responses to you! Glad you found place to move to!
And I hope you’re managing the Rosacea – I hear it’s a bit temperamental to treat and manage. But, there are lots of products nowadays that cater to it.

    1. Haha that’s okay! ❀ That’s why I haven’t been around. I will be back next month in full force! I’ve been using a cream and antibiotics and it’s definitely made an improvement! Thank you! ❀
