The First Day of Spring! MOTD

Hello there! Long time no write! I’m so sorry it’s been forever since I last posted. As some of you know, I haven’t been feeling too well and have had a lot going on when it comes to my health. I’m doing a bit better this week and was feeling inspired, so I wanted to write a new blog post finally!

I took a picture of my makeup today, it’s not the best picture, but it’s going to have to do. Do you ever have those days where no matter what you do, you just don’t feel the greatest about yourself? That’s me today. I was trying to look like a more “normal” person, and of course then I start sweating like crazy! I sweat so much in my hair and have increased sweating due to some of the medications that I take.

Anyhow, I wanted to just do a simple Makeup of the Day post today. I tried some new products today, and wanted to give you my first impressions on them. I will be listing everything that I used, and then I will tell you my thoughts. I will let you know if it’s new to me, or if I’ve been using it for a while…

Face…

Primer: Glossier Priming Moisturizer

20180320_1831021116950485078148752.jpg

I’ve been using this primer on and off for a long time now. I think it’s great for when you want to skip that extra step, moisturizing your face before you apply your primer. It cuts down on a little time in my routine. I really like this primer, I think it would be great for anyone’s skin type. Though you should always be sure that your primer is compatible with the foundation you plan to use with it. Water and oil don’t mix. If your foundation is water-based, be sure to use a water-based primer. It helps to look at the ingredients list for each product. If they’re both water-based, then water should be one of the first ingredients listed.

Foundation: (NEW to me) It Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation

20180320_1857247765138737559371470.jpg

I tried this for the first time today, and so far I really like it! I have the shade Fair, which is a great match for me! It’s not too dark, not too light, it doesn’t make me look like I’m a corpse anyway! If you have more mature skin, or your skin is more on the dry side, Then I’d recommend this for you. It has more of a natural and dewy finish. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, and it doesn’t look cakey. It has a medium coverage, but can be built up to a fuller coverage. I used my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush to apply it, and I thought it applied very well. I use a blending sponge a majority of the time, but I need to wash some before I open any of the newer ones I’ve been hoarding.

Concealer: Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in the shade Fair Neutral & Color Correcting Fluid in the shade Pink

20180320_1908292968014087241983684.jpg

I’ve used these together for quite a while now. What I like about them is that they’re not too heavy or dry looking. I feel like the Naked Skin concealer doesn’t settle into my fine lines underneath my eyes as much as the Tarte Shape Tape does. The Tarte Shape tape is thick, has full coverage, and does a great job hiding any other imperfections. The Color Correcting Fluid in the shade Pink is great for canceling out those dark circles under the eyes if you have fair skin.

Face Powder: W3ll People Bio Brightener Invisible Powder

Another product that I’ve been using for a long time now, this one is actually 100% natural. It’s a very fine loose powder used to create a soft-focus effect, and blur any imperfections. If you have fair/pale skin, sometimes it works better to use a powder that is translucent. Using a powder that is a little darker, can deposit the color into your concealer when you’re trying to set it; making your concealer look a little off on your skin. That’s always what would happen to me anyway.

Bronzer: Top: Physician’s Formula Bronze Booster & Bottom: Essence sun club matt bronzing powder for lighter skin in 01 natural

First I will be talking about the Physician’s Formula Bronze Booster. In this one, I really only use the middle shade. It’s great for contouring/sculpting since it’s a cooler toned matte bronzer. I’m not into full-on contouring, but I like to use it to try to define my cheek bones. The bottom one in the picture, is the Essence sun club matte bronzing powder for lighter skin types. I use this for all over bronzing. It’s a great shade to use if you’re pale like me, it really warms up my face.

Blush: (NEW to me) Pretty Vulgar Blush in the shade Hush Blush

How cute is this packaging?! It’s Adorable! I recieved this blush in this month’s Boxycharm. Boxycharm is a monthly beauty subscription. Here is a picture that I posted to Instgram of this month’s box…

Getting back to the blush, I really love this shade! This rose colored blush is matte and looks gorgeous on! I’m really happy with this blush and see myself using it regularly. I applied it lightly because it was pretty pigmented. I wouldn’t mind getting a couple more shades!

Highlighter: (NEWER to me) Laura Gellar Filter Finish Setting Powder

I know this is supposed to be a “setting powder,” but the beautiful sheen it leaves on your cheek bones says otherwise! If you want a radiant ethereal looking glow, but do NOT want to look like glitter bombed on your face, then I highly recommend you try this! This is a new favorite of mine currently!

Eyes…

Brows – Milani Brow Fix Kit in Light & essence make me brow eyebrow gel mascara in the shade blondy brows…

I know this Milani brow kit doesn’t look too pretty, but it is very much loved! ❤ I use EVERYTHING in this brow kit. I have repurchased this many times. No matter what else I try, I come back to this. I’ve hit pan in the brow highlighter, amazing huh? I love brow powder more than pencils because it looks so much more natural on myself. The powder clings to brow hairs and defines them. My brows are naturally light, so the powder pretty much just darkens the hairs. The essence gel mascara is supposed to be a dupe for the Benefit gimme brow. Some people love it, some do not. I love it, and I love that it’s budget friendly. The brow mascara itself contains tiny fibers that cling to your brow hairs to make them look thicker as well.

Eyeshadow Primer: (NEWER to me) essence eyeshadow & primer

I’ve been using this for a little bit, it reminds me a lot of the Mac Paint Pots. I have the actual Mac Paint Pot in Ochre. Funny thing is, I like this one a lot more! This works pretty well. I use my finger to pat it onto my eyelids. Patting works better than trying to just rub it in. This is very inexpensive! I ordered it from the actual essence website. If you order at least $15 of product from the essence website, shipping is free!

Eyeshadow: (NEW to me) 2 shades from the Made for Boxycharm Pür Cosmetics Palette

For an all over base shade, I used the shade ‘PÜRFECT.’ Then I just kept it simple and popped the shade ‘BAE’ onto my eyelids. I tried to use the new Vintage Cosmetic brushes that came with this month’s Boxycharm, but they really didn’t pick up the eyeshadow very well. So I just used my finger to pat BAE on all over my lids. I just wanted a pop of color today. From what I can tell so far, these shadows are pretty pigmented and I’m looking forward to trying more shades in this palette. Here is my face at the end of the day, you can see that there was eyeshadow there, but it’s pretty much worn off. I will try these shadows with other eyeshadow primers to see if that helps.

Eyeliner: Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in the shade Brown

20180320_2024147436321654982891075.jpg

I  only used eyeliner for my lower lash line. I wanted to draw more attention to the eyeshadow. I really like these waterproof liners, they’re very lasting and don’t smudge.

Mascara: Covergirl The Super Sizer Mascara in very black

I’ve used this mascara on and off for a while now. I really like the wand, it’s easy to use, and it doesn’t seem to take as long to coat my lashes. It’s volumizing, lengthening, and it only seems to flake a little when I use too much…I usually prefer drugstore mascaras over high-end ones. They work just the same if not better!

Lips…

Lipgloss: (NEW to me) Colourpop Kathleen Lights Ultra Glossy Lip in Moon Child

Going out today, I just wanted to pop on a simple gloss. Moon Child is described as a pinky nude with gold glitter. It’s very shiny and has medium coverage. It wasn’t sticky and I thought it was okay. It wasn’t as pigmented as I thought it would be. I guess I’ve been spoiled using the Jouer High Pigment Lip Glosses. Those are amazing by the way! This gloss was a little too shiny. Maybe I could pair it on top of something else. I won’t give up on it yet though.

That’s all for this post! I hope you enjoyed it! I’m also hoping to post more on a regular basis. I’m going to be having a surgical procedure done for my TMJ. It’s called arthrocentesis. It’s where they drain the excess fluid I have around my jaw joints, then flush them out. It will hopefully help with the pain the long run. It’s the least invasive procedure to treat it. I probably won’t know the actual surgery date for another week or two. So, I will probably be recovering from that for a little bit at some point. I hope everyone is having a great first week of spring! Thank you for stopping by and reading!

New Product Favorites

Hey there! I am back writing a post…finally! I meant to get this post up sooner, but I had a lot going on. It just seems like summer has been really busy with moving and everything. I wanted to get a post up today, because I am going out of town for a couple of days this weekend with my boyfriend. We’re finally doing something fun on his days off. We’re going somewhere neat, and maybe I will post some pictures on here next week. 😉

In this post, I just wanted to share some new favorites of mine that I’ve tried recently. These aren’t products that I’ve been using long-term, I’ve just been using them for a little bit. So my thoughts on these products are sort of like first impressions. I just wanted to disclose that. I thought I would choose 5 things that I’ve been using lately and am really loving!

20170723_171442

First up, is the Cover FX Natural Finish Oil Free Foundation. What drew me to wanting to try this foundation, was that it claimed to have a natural finish. I am more into natural finishes and satin finishes. With my skin type, I feel like a matte finish isn’t as flattering on me. Matte foundations are great for oily skin or even for combination skin. I guess my skin is more Normal to Dry. So when I put on a matte foundation, I feel like my face is stiff and and it just looks all wrong. I am getting older now and am in my 30’s, so I have some fine lines beginning to form. I feel like matte foundation just accentuates that on me.

This foundation is a water-based foundation. It is hydrating, and actually leaves you with a beautiful dewy finish. It’s very light feeling on the skin, and is buildable for a medium-full coverage. This foundation is meant for Normal to Dry skin types. However, I’m thinking they have other foundation(s) suited for Oily to Combination skin. This foundation contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E to protect your skin from free radicals. This foundation does NOT contain sunscreen, so definitely apply some sunscreen to your face beforehand. This foundation does NOT Contain Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Fragrance, Gluten, Mineral Oil, or Talc.

I have the shade N0, which is for fairest porcelain skin with neutral undertones. They have 40 shades, and cater to a full range of skin tones. They have shades for pink, neutral, and golden undertones. You can check them all out here. They have shades for deep skin tones for women of color, and shades for very fair skin like mine. I am really impressed with their shade range. Here is a picture of a swatch of the Cover FX in the shade N0, compared to Urban Decay’s Naked Skin in 0.5, and L’Oreal’s True Match in Porcelain W1…

20170723_172735

The Urban Decay foundation has pink undertones, while the Cover Fx is more neutral. Of course, the L’Oreal has more of a yellow undertone. It was hard to get a good picture. I took this picture in natural light. Cover FX is listed online as being cruelty-free and vegan. It’s a great foundation, I think I like it even more than my Urban Decay Naked Skin. I’ve used a blending sponge and a brush to apply this foundation. They both worked really well, I didn’t feel like one worked better than the other. It was easier to achieve a more fuller-coverage using a brush. It just depends on your preference.

Next up, is the W3LL PEOPLE Bio Brightener Invisible Powder. It’s an ultra-fine loose powder that is supposed to look invisible, and it’s supposed to be a universal shade. It claims to blur fine lines, and soften imperfections. I think it definitely lives up to those claims. I like to use this with the Cover FX foundation, I’ve only used this combination together. My foundation does last a long-time, so it could either be the foundation itself and/or the powder helps as well. This powder is hypoallergenic, chemical free, cruelty free & noncomedogenic. It does NOT contain parabens, gluten, GMO’s, phthalates, sulfates, fragrance, pheonoxyethanol, dimethicone, PEG, propylene glycol, butylene glycol, lead, mineral oil, or talc. In the photo below, I blended some in on my hand. I didn’t want to blend it in too much, so it would still be somewhat visible, if that makes any sense? I don’t know, maybe I should’ve blended it in more so you can see it being invisible…

20170723_174217
20170723_174304

It actually really does blend into the skin very well. I ordered this from the Target website. You can also order it from the W3LL PEOPLE webite as well. On the W3LL PEOPLE website, you can order the full size pictured here, or a mini size. It does cost a couple more dollars ordering from the Target website. W3LL PEOPLE is not only a cruelty-free brand, but also a natural brand.

20170723_171559

This simple little palette is the Bh Cosmetics Matte Warm Eye To Go Palette – 6 Color Eyeshadow Palette. Unfortunately, this palette is no longer available right now on their website, which saddens me. I’m really sorry about that! I got this as a free gift when I ordered their Solar Flare Baked eyeshadow palette. They have other 6 color eyeshadow palettes here. I’m hoping that they will bring this one back though. Bh Cosmetics makes some great eyeshadow palettes that are budget friendly, and they’re another cruelty-free makeup brand. I do have to say, some of their products can be hit or miss. Just do your research though and read reviews. 😉

20170723_173048

Here are the swatches. All of these shadows are matte, as you can see. They’re nicely pigmented, blend well, and I think this little palette is nice to have when you want to create a simple look, and it would be nice to take along with you when you travel. I like using the cream shade as a base color for all over, and I like using the upper right corner shade in the palette and the lower left corner shade to use as a transition shade and as a crease shade. It’s nice to have something that I got as a free gift work out so well for me.

20170723_171902

This is the Glossier Cloud Paint in the shade Dusk, this is a blush with a gel-cream formula. If you don’t normally like cream blushes, you might actually even like this! It’s not greasy at all, it’s lasting, and blends into your skin so nicely and seamlessly. You can just use your fingers to blend it in. There are a total of 4 shades you can choose from. I also have the shade Beam, but I would love to get Puff eventually. You can check out the shades here.

In the pictures above, is the cloud paint in the shade Dusk. I have it blended out on my hand, so you can see kind of what it looks like blended out. You really don’t need to use very much and you can keep building it up to how you want it to look. The cloud paints were inspired by the NYC gradient sunsets. Glossier is another cruelty-free brand as well.

20170723_173937

Last but not least, is the Dose of Colors Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Bare With Me. Bare With Me is a peachy pink nude shade. I am normally wary of matte lipstick because of how drying it can be. I didn’t think this one was too drying. It was also long-lasting, though it did wear off toward the center of my lips, but that usually happens with most lipsticks. It felt light on my lips, I did notice slight transfer when I kissed my boyfriend on the cheek. It held up nicely though through eating and drinking.

20170723_174121

This is such a beautiful shade! I highly recommend it! I purchased this shade along with the shade Stone, from the Ulta Beauty website. Dose of Colors is only available online. You can also purchase from the Dose of Colors website. Dose of Colors is a cruelty-free brand as well!

IMG_20170722_205207_572

In this picture, I am wearing all of the products I talked about in this post. You may recognize this photo if you follow me on social media. My cheeks look extra rosy in this picture because of my flushing from Rosacea…I just wanted to mention that real quick. Every product mentioned in this post is cruelty-free. I don’t buy all cruelty-free, but I am trying to be more aware of my purchases. Well that’s it for this post. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in the comment section down below. I will do my best to answer any questions. Thank you so much for stopping by and reading! I hope everyone has a great rest of the week! ❤

Current Skin Care Favorites

Hello there! Happy Weekend! I hope everyone is having a great one. The weather here in Michigan has been really gloomy. I need some sunshine, seriously! I like winter because it’s cold, and I usually get really warm easily. Though I’m actually looking forward to spring. I’ve already been shopping for makeup/clothes with spring colors in mind.

Anyway, I haven’t worn makeup all week because I’ve been sick. I am feeling a lot better now though. As I was trying out a new face mask tonight, while watching The Devil Wears Prada and munching on some snacks, I thought it would be a good idea to write a post about my current skin care favorites. I have been getting into skin care more now that I’m in my 30’s. When I was younger, I was all about the makeup only. Now I get excited when I get new skin care products to try out from my monthly beauty subscriptions, though I’m only subscribed to Ipsy at the moment. For this post, I’m just going to briefly describe each of my favorites.

Current Face wash : Bioré Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser

Charcoal is a popular ingredient used nowadays for skin care. It’s known to draw out the impurities in your skin. Bioré claims…

“draws out and traps 2x more dirt and impurities than a basic cleanser, purifying pores to leave your face deeply cleaned and your skin tingly-smooth. Pores are twice as clean after just one use.”

This cleanser is to be used daily, and I have been using it for a long time now. I do have a couple other face washes that I’ve tried and like, but I use this one the most. I love the way it makes my skin feel fresh and clean after each use.

Curent Skin Care Tool: Ulta Dual Action Cleansing Brush System

I love using this brush to cleanse my skin. I don’t use it every time I wash my face, but it’s great for exfoliating. You can use any cleanser or scrub with it, and it comes with 2 different brush attachments. One being the soft bristle brush used for cleansing, and the other is a deep foam pad that is used for gentle cleansing or for deep application of your moisturizer. It runs on 4 AA batteries, and you can purchase replacement brushes as well. This is one of the more inexpensive cleansing brushes, it’s only $25 and I’m very happy with it!

Curent Acne Spot Treatment: Benzac Blemish Clearing Hydrator

I picked up this secret gem from The Dollar Tree, though it’s sold at stores like Walmart, Target, and Walgreens. The same exact bottle I have, sells at Walmart for almost $6, and I found it for only $1! It works wonders! It contains 0.5% Salicyclic Acid. So if you’re skin responds well to that, definitely give it a try! It also contains East Indian Sandlewood Oil. It’s lightweight and absorbs really well. The thing that I really noticed, is that it never dried out my skin, and my blemishes improved within at least a couple of days. It’s not something I use everyday, only for a couple of days when I get a blemish. So, it is possible to dry out your skin if you’re using it every day.

Current Facial Serum: Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum

This is one of those skin care items that I received from Ipsy. What I love about it, is that it absorbs quickly and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. You can use this alone, or under your makeup as a primer, and you can use this under your daily moisturizer. Honey is good for your skin. It contains anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It really helps in retaining moisture to the skin.

Current Daily Moisturizer: Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel (Combination Oily to Oily Skin)

This daily face moisturizer is a long time favorite for many. I remember my Mom using this when I was a kid. It’s always been her favorite, and now it’s mine. It’s fragrance-free and oil-free. It absorbs quickly, and makes my skin feel so soft. This is what I use before I apply my makeup. It’s important to moisturize before applying your makeup to get a smooth application.

Current Eye Cream: Caudalie Resveratrol [LIFT] Eye Lifting Balm

I got this from the Sephora beauty subscription a long time ago. It’s a tube that’s only 0.16 FL. OZ. but it’s lasted me a long time! I’m just about out of it, and that makes me sad. When it comes down to it, I will probably cut the end of the tube off to get even more product. Caudalie is an expensive brand, I’d love to purchase it, but I usually try out and use whatever eye cream comes my way from subscriptions. After using this one, I will try to use up my Purlisse one, and that one is actually a full-size. It’s hard for me to tell when eye creams actually work, but this one is very moisturizing.

Favorite Makeup Remover: Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water

I had read many reviews raving about this product, so I just had to pick it up and try it out for myself. I will definitely be repurchasing it again! It works so well at removing makeup. It’s oil, alcohol, and fragrance free. The one I use has a pink cap. They have one with a blue cap too, I think it’s supposed to be used to remove waterproof makeup. I had tried a couple of other brands, but this one is my favorite. I use this in place of makeup remover wipes. Now I just use makeup remover wipes to remove swatches, when testing out different products.

Current Toner: Pixi Glow Tonic (Not pictured in featured image.)

Last but not least, the ever popular  Pixi Glow Tonic. Another skin care product that receives a lot of hype, and I understand why. I don’t have it pictured in my featured image at the beginning of this post because I put it somewhere, and have misplaced it. I’m actually running really low on it and need to pick up another bottle. It’s very gentle and alcohol free. It exfoliates, brightens, and smooths the skin. You just put some on a cotton pad, and sweep it across your face, neck, and décolletage. I’m thinking about trying the the Glow Tonic To-Go, which contains the pre-soaked pads. It sounds very convenient!

Well that’s all I have for you in this post. I hope that you enjoyed reading it. What are some of your favorite skin care products? Let me know in the comments down below. I hope you all are enjoying your weekend!

Makeup Favorites

Happy December! I hope all is well with you. I can’t believe Christmas is almost here and 2016 will be over. Who is ready for a new year? I know I am! Today, I am going to be talking about my Makeup Favorites. I am not going to go too much into these products because this isn’t a review. These are products that I’ve been using for a while. I know everyone is posting their monthly favorites right now, but I just wanted to share with you my favorites that I’ve been loving lately…

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation
img_0215

I’ve been using this foundation for quite a while and it’s been the best foundation I’ve ever tried! At least for me that is. I was hesitant to spend $40 on a foundation since I had never bought a “high-end” foundation. I can tell you though, that it was totally worth it! I love it so much because it truly does feel “weightless” on the skin. Matte foundations seem to be a popular choice, but a lot of them felt really heavy on my skin. This demi-matte foundation makes your skin still look like skin, yet it has great buildable coverage. I wear the shade 0.5 which is a pretty fair shade with pink undertones. This line offers a wide variety of shades, which a lot of makeup brands are lacking. I really like the packaging and I love that it has a pump as well.

img_0216

Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Powder
img_0217

Up next, is the ever popular Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Powder. Say that 5 times fast! What I love about this powder is how light-weight it is and it doesn’t settle into my creases. It has a very silky finish and I feel like it can be used with any skin type. I guess my skin type is “normal,” whatever normal is. I wear the shade 10 Porcelain and this comes in 7 other shades as well. I purchased this from Ulta for $10.99. I have a picture of what it looks like down below. No, my sponge isn’t really that clean. I just turned it over to the clean side for this picture.

img_0219

Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer
img_0220

I’m pretty sure everyone in the makeup world has heard of this crazy popular concealer, and I’m sure it doesn’t need much of an introduction either. This sought after concealer is always going out of stock. Luckily, I happened to find mine one day in an Ulta store. I bought it not long after it came out. This concealer is full coverage, creamy, and doesn’t settle into fine lines. A little bit goes a long way! My favorite method of applying this, is to use my Real Techniques blending sponge. I have this concealer in the shade fair, which is described to be for “fair skin with pink undertones.” You get a lot of product with this and it has a huge wand. Definitely worth the $24!

img_0221

Essence Contouring Powder
img_0222

This budget friendly contouring powder by Essence has been a long time favorite. I specifically only use the bronzer part, since I’m not too keen on the highlighter. This is in the shade Light 01, and they also have the shade Medium 02. I feel like this shade of bronzer is a great option for fair skin. It blends really well and doesn’t look too overdone. You can pick this up for $3.99 at Ulta, or on the Essence website and Target’s website/select stores.

img_0225

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone
img_0227

My favorite highlighter lately, Moonstone is a pale gold shade that leaves a nice natural finish. No glitter chunks with this highlighter, Becca knows their highlighters! I actually purchased this in a set, The Glow On The Go Moonstone set for $20. I think that’s a great way to go if you don’t want to drop $38 on the full size version of this pressed powder. I purchased mine online from Ulta. The set also includes the Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlight in Moonstone. Which is the liquid version you apply with a wand. I haven’t used it yet, so I can’t really tell you how I feel about it. I’m definitely going to be pulling it out to use soon though.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer Pencil
img_0235

Anastasia knows brows, that’s a fact! I have never tried the Brow Wiz, I just went straight for the Brow Definer. Some people might prefer the Brow Wiz because it has a fine tip, while the Brow Definer has a thicker triangle-shaped tip. I feel like this tip covers more area and it doesn’t take as long to do my brows. I picked this up from Ulta for $23 in the shade Taupe, which is a nice light ash brown. I have also been using this along with the NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Taupe. The Nyx one seems to be a tad bit lighter and has the finer tip like the Brow Wiz. I like to use the Nyx pencil to get those inner small hairs, while I focus the Brow Definer on the tail ends. The difference in shades gives a nice effect.

The Brow Definer also has a spoolie at the end.

Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Mascara
img_0242

Another bargain treat from Essence, the Make Me Brow gel mascara is said to be a dupe for Benefit’s Gimme Brow. I wouldn’t know for sure because I have never used the Gimme Brow. I had my hands on it once, but passed it on to my Mom. I don’t know what I was thinking at the time, I wasn’t really into using a product like this and never tried it. Anyhow, This brow gel has a nice little brush that makes it easy to get to those little fine hairs. It’s tinted and contains little fibers to help fill in your brows. I really love it and it gives the perfect finish to my brows. I have the shade Blondy Brows 01. There are two other shades: Browny Brows 02 and Soft Browny Brows 03. I bought this for $2.99 at Ulta, what a deal!

img_0243

Mac Lipstick in Magic Spell & Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in In control
img_0248

These two aren’t something that I have been using for a long time exactly, but they’re already a favorite! I have received a lot of compliments wearing this combination. These two belong in a set that also came with the Vamplify Lipgloss in Tuned In. I assume you use all 3 of these together. I haven’t used the lip gloss yet. The lipstick on it’s own already has a nice shine. The set is called the Nutcracker Sweet Nude Lip Kit. The lipstick in Magic spell is a mid tone mauve nude with a cremesheen finish and the Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in In Control is a brown mauve. The Vamplify Lip Gloss in Tuned In is a mid tone rosy nude. I ordered this set online from Nordstrom for $39.50. Right now, it’s 20% off and you can get for $29.63. I will link it here. This set also comes with a cute pink and burgundy cosmetic bag.
